In particular, data analytics in education has the power to transform an institution by both increasing the learning outcomes of students, and by excelling the enrollment and graduation process. Additionally, the utilization of machine learning techniques can, among other: (a) Identify important features regarding the performance of different group of students, (b) Highlight good and bad practices improving the overall efficiency of the institution, (c) Identify homogeneous groups of students, as well as (d) Assist  adaptation of appropriate teaching methods to the appropriate students (those who are most likely to respond positively).
